Happy New Years Oak Grove Family, Just wanted to keep you informed of the ways Oak Grove is reaching NA. We still have four weekly NA meetings. For the month of January NA will be hosting a “Speaker Jam” at the church. It will be on January 7, 2012 starting at 12pm. A speaker jam is when NA gets together and brings members from around the state to share thier stories. Similar to what we call a revival. On January 14, 2012 again NA will be hosting an event at the church. The History of NA: two speakers will explain how NA came about. It will be a spaghetti dinner and during admision we will serve refreshments. All are invited to attend. NA continues to pay for the use of our facility and Ministry House. This month several men helped do some cleaning and painting. During the holidays memebers were avaible to assist in cleaning up the accident which occured in the kitchen. We would like to thank Vaughn for his willingness to be available to help train NA members on the use of the sound system. I am sure Scott Kier will be thankful for that. as he has held long phone conversations with me to talk me thru the use of the system during NA events. It is our hope that the relationship with NA will some how bring about opportunities for reaching, teaching, mending and then sending a group in need of the gospel. I am greatful to be part of this process and look forward to how God may use our relationship with NA.
