Connecting with God, each other, and our world through Reaching, Teaching, Mending and Sending!
Philosophy of Ministry
We at Oak Grove believe we are a part of the Body of Christ and as such we are called to be a functional family in a disfunctional world. So we strive daily to humbly and consistently be a blessing to God and to one another in a worship that we hope centers on God and sees the individual; in an individual and corporate commitment to the study of the Bible and prayer; in service to one another, our community and the world; Connecting with God, each other, and our world through Reaching, Teaching, Mending, and Sending.
We believe the body of Christ is made up of all races, ethnicities, income classes, generations, and walks of life. As a church we actively seek to be ONE TOTAL BODY of BELIEVERS made up of ONE CHRISTIAN CULTURE under the banner of our Lord.
We believe we have a responsibility to create opportunities for all followers of Christ to experience growth in their lives. In an environment of mutual love, acceptance, and support, this growth occurs through discipleship, relationship, spiritual healing, and restoration.
We believe that God calls our church to reach the world through the reaching and sending of His people locally and globally, the generous sharing of His resources, and working to fulfill the “Great Commission” of Jesus Christ.
