At Oak Grove we believe that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church and we look to Him in all matters. We strive to keep Christ in charge. And we believe He has provided us with a wonderful Pastoral Team that serve as His “under-shepherds”.
Pastor Denny Huebner
Pastor Denny has pastored the Oak Grove Church of God since 1994. He is a product of the First Church of God in Peoria, Ill. He attended Colorado State Univ. and Anderson College. He did his graduate studies at Asbury Theological Seminary. Denny has pastored in Belfast, Northern Ireland; Baraboo, Wisconsin; and Columbus, Ohio. This is Pastor Denny’s 31st year in ministry. Denny is married to Sharon and between them they have eight children and three grandchildren.
Pastor Karen Kier
Pastor Karen is a home-grown product of the ministry of the Oak Grove Church of God. Her primary responsibilities at Oak Grove involve the discipleship of both adults and children. Karen received her Doctor of Ministry degree in May, 2010 from Anderson University School of Theology and is a gifted teacher, preacher and counselor. Karen has been married to Scott Kier since 1983 they have two grown daughters and two sons-in-law: Brittany and Harvey Bayliss (Philadelphia, PA) and Emily and Freddy Rivera (Tampa, FL).
